Madisonville Community Theatre Announces:
AUDITIONS FOR SEUSSICAL, the musical
Recruiting Begins:
Sunday, February 1, at 2 PM in the Madisonville High School Auditorium.
No advance preparation is required. There will be parts for all who wish to participate. Kids must be in 3rd grade or higher.
Rehearsals will be: Every Sunday, February - June.
Performances will be: June 26, 27, and 28. | |

| Writers Guild Workshop and Booksigning (October 6th, 2008)
October 14 - Join us in the Madison County Library Annex for a workshop and booksigning by Dr. Cyrus Harding. Everyone is welcome!
Workshop - 6:30 - 7:30 pm - Topic: 'Writing is Personal'
Booksigning - 7:30 - 8:00 pm
Dr. Harding lives in Normangee and has recently completed a science fiction novel entitled 'Absidaar: The Dark World of Light.' This is Dr. Harding's second novel, and is based on his work at the Superconducting Super Collider.

| Debra Clopton Talk / Book Signing TONIGHT! (May 20th, 2008)
Tonight, the Madison County Writers Guild meeting will be a bit different. Local author, Debra Clopton, www.debraclopton.com, will be joining us to give a workshop writers guild members, followed by a booksigning for the general public.
The Writers Guild meets at 6:30 in the annex building behind the Madison County Public Library.
Non-guild members are invited to join us at 7:30. Debra Clopton will be signing books. She will have some books available for those who do not already have copies. | |
| Writers Guild Hosts Author Bob Bowman (May 11th, 2008)
Photos from the the Lecture and booksigning by East Texas author Bob Bowman. www.bob-bowman.com/. The Madison County Writers Guild hosted the event at the Kimbro Center on the square in Madisonville on Saturday, May 10. Mr. Bowman gave a very interesting talk about 'The Forgotten Towns of East Texas', and he and his wife Doris proved very popular with the writers guild members and their guests. Don't be surprised if he comes back to give a workshop in the not too distant future!
